Personality snapshot

ENTJs (Commanders) are clearly more common here than in the average country. Respondents tip slightly toward Thinking, enough to make them the 14th most Thinking group in our rankings. Their mild Introverted and Turbulent leanings match the average country almost exactly.

The sharpest contrast is with Sentinels, who are much scarcer than usual, while Analysts and Explorers such as ISTPs (Virtuosos) fill the gap. ESFJs (Consuls) show up only about half as often as average.

About the country

Nicaragua, the largest country in Central America, reaches from the Pacific to the Caribbean. In Lake Nicaragua, the island of Ometepe is formed by two volcanoes joined by a narrow neck of land, and bull sharks swim upriver from the sea into the lake’s fresh water. On Cerro Negro, a young volcano, visitors slide down steep black slopes on boards. Baseball is the most popular sport, and the poet Rubén Darío, born here, helped launch Spanish-language modernismo.
