Personality snapshot

Head and heart are nearly tied among these test-takers. They lean Thinking by the narrowest of margins, yet that is enough to make them more Thinking than most countries we rank. Elsewhere they stay close to the average: somewhat Introverted, clearly Intuitive, and more Turbulent than Assertive.

The standout is ENTJs (Commanders), who are 37% more common than in the average country. Sentinels are scarcer, with ESFJs (Consuls) about a third less common than usual.

About the country

El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America and the only one with no Caribbean coast, facing the Pacific alone. Dozens of volcanoes rise across its land, and Izalco erupted so constantly for nearly two centuries that sailors called it the “Lighthouse of the Pacific.” Volcanic ash preserved Joya de Cerén, a pre-Hispanic farming village now listed by UNESCO. The country’s best-loved dish is the pupusa, a thick corn tortilla stuffed with cheese or beans.
