Personality snapshot

Only five countries in our rankings lean further toward Thinking than Azerbaijan’s respondents. That tilt shapes the whole mix. Analysts are the largest Role, at roughly four in ten test-takers, while Diplomats come first in the average country.

ENTPs (Debaters) and INTPs (Logicians) stand out most, and both are much more common than usual. A clear Intuitive lean and a mild Prospecting one leave little room for Sentinels, and ISFJs (Defenders) are especially rare.

About the country

Azerbaijan sits on the western shore of the Caspian Sea, where the peaks of the Greater Caucasus fall away to dry lowlands and subtropical forests. It is often called the Land of Fire – at Yanar Dag, near Baku, a hillside has burned for decades on seeping natural gas. The country has hundreds of mud volcanoes, prehistoric rock carvings at Gobustan, and one of the world’s earliest oil industries. Its mugham music and carpet weaving are recognized by UNESCO.
