Personality snapshot

Keeping plans loose is what sets these respondents apart. They rank as the sixth most Prospecting of all ranked countries, so flexibility and room to improvise tend to win over fixed schedules. On the other traits, they sit close to the average country. They lean Introverted, Intuitive, and Turbulent. Compared with the average country, though, they tilt slightly toward Observant and Thinking.

ISTPs (Virtuosos) appear about a quarter more often than average, and ESTJs (Executives) are more common too. Their Feeling counterparts, ESFJs (Consuls), are noticeably rarer.

About the country

Latvia lies on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea. It is a low, green country where forests cover about half the land and the highest hill barely tops 300 meters. Its capital, Riga, has one of the world’s largest collections of Art Nouveau buildings, and the Venta Rapid in Kuldīga is often called Europe’s widest waterfall. Riga-born tailor Jacob Davis co-invented riveted blue jeans, and the country’s Song and Dance Festival brings together tens of thousands of singers and dancers.
