Personality snapshot

Few countries lean as hard toward both Introversion and Judging – respondents rank in the top ten for each, favoring quiet focus and clear plans. Other traits sit near the norm, with a mild lean toward Feeling and a clear Turbulent tilt.

The types that stand out match the Introverted and Judging lean. INFJs (Advocates) are 56% more common than in the average country, and ISFJs (Defenders) are well above usual too. Outgoing, spontaneous personality types are much rarer, especially ESTPs (Entrepreneurs).

About the country

Laos is Southeast Asia’s only landlocked country, a land of forested mountains with the Mekong running along much of its western edge. In the far south, the river spreads into Si Phan Don, the “4,000 Islands,” and thunders over Khone Phapheng, the region’s largest waterfall by volume. The Plain of Jars holds thousands of ancient stone jars whose purpose is still debated. Sticky rice is the everyday staple, and the bamboo khaen mouth organ is recognized by UNESCO.
