No other ranked country’s respondents lean as far toward Thinking, so decisions here tend to start with logic rather than feelings. Analysts make up 44% of test-takers – far more than in the average country – with INTPs (Logicians) and INTJs (Architects) each over 50% more common than usual. These respondents also lean more Introverted and Intuitive than those in most countries. Feeling types are scarcer than usual, and ISFJs (Defenders) fall well below their typical share.
About the country
Iran stretches from the shores of the Caspian Sea to the Persian Gulf, with the Alborz and Zagros mountains framing high plateaus and vast deserts. Its Lut Desert has recorded some of the hottest ground temperatures ever measured on Earth, while snowcapped Mount Damavand rises above 5,600 meters. Ancient qanats, underground channels dug to carry water across dry land, still flow in places. Iran grows most of the world’s saffron, and its hand-knotted carpets are prized worldwide.
