I really struggle with this, apparently I'm INFP-A. But, I think I'm actually both! I'm not particularly competitive, though I'm all about logic and rationality. I don't bend truth, although I know the hurt it can cause others. Truth is truth, although we can love others in such a way to help them cope. Cope we must.

I don't think that's what it is saying at all. I think it says Feelers are more driven by their emotions when they make a decision. Not only how it affects others but their own feelings. I have a friend that must be on the higher end of the Feelers. She has a hard time departing with things, like somehow she's going to miss having 100 Home and Garden magazines. She asks me what I think she should do with them and I grin and say "you know what I'd do". (Toss them). And it's not that I'm not feeling, I just know that having the clutter gone feels much better than hanging on to something I "might" want to look at some time in the future. As a Thinker I can cut through the emotions and make a decision that I think will be best, for both sides.

omg same! i feel Assertive Mediators have a much stronger pull towards rationality and logical detachment than Turbulent ones. not sure if that has to do with the Assertive identity tho.

Super true. Although I am willing to step down when I come to teamwork, well only if your useful, I think that absolute truth is necessary, even if it enrages others. My views can only be persuaded, or at least made neutral, from evidence and facts. Logic is much more important to me than silly feelings.

Do any of you feel emotions really? Because when I'm in a fun situation or something, I plaster on a smile (looks pretty genuine by now) And... well I can't explain it, but I feel so detached. Not in a lonely way, I just know I'm not in the same mental place as them

Feelings aren't silly. But as a 53% Thinker, it isn't logical to me to make a decision based only on feelings and no logic. On the other hand, the other way around would not be good either. We are human, not machines!

By the way, I have the same rating as you (INTJ). I am considered by myself and others as very pragmatic. People around me get all caught up in how they feel about things, while I'm asking "just the facts maam". They are amazed that I can make clear headed decisions without cruelty.

This totally makes sense. It seems that I just can't seem to push myself to win in competitions, because I feel that others should have a chance. But, then other people ask me why I am not trying hard. They just do not seem to understand that this is who I am.

For some reason, I ended up getting T even though I think cooperation is important too. I believe in some cases, cooperation leads to efficiency (e.g. while working in a team, it is better to be cooperative by not insulting/arguing with group members for something unrelated to a group project because it is wasting time, cooperation is what keeps society stable, etc)

I don't think T or F has anything to do with cooperation. It is more how you make decisions and whether you handle life more with emotions or logic.

Darn straight! I'm a heck of a team player. I know someone that is much more touchy-feely (F) than me and she is so concerned with doing things her way and get recoginition than being a part of the team. As a Thinker I'm more concern with completing the project and doing whatever I can to make it happen. No concern with getting a pat on the back or not.

From what you wrote I think it’s pretty logic that you are a thinker. In your comment you emphasized that one of the reasons you value cooperation is for efficiency. This is how thinking people think of things they need to have a reason why something is good. Feeling people will be against arguments and value cooperation so others including themselves won’t get hurt. They will want this none - arguments environment not for efficiency but for harmony. A person with a strong thinking trait can also don’t want unnecessary arguments but he is more likely to be against them because they harm efficiently and not because they are unpleasant.
