Personality snapshot

Heart and structure travel together in these results. Test-takers lean more Feeling and more Judging than in the average country, and the personality types that stand out combine both traits.

INFJs (Advocates) appear about a third more often than average, with ISFJs (Defenders) and ESFJs (Consuls) also more common. Spontaneous Explorers, by contrast, are scarcer. Self-doubt and a drive to improve run high as well – respondents rank 13th of all countries for Turbulence.

About the country

Réunion is a volcanic island in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar, and an overseas region of France. Piton de la Fournaise, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupts often, and three huge cirques, or natural amphitheaters, are carved into the island’s heart. One of them, Mafate, can be reached only on foot or by helicopter. In 1841, a 12-year-old named Edmond Albius found a way to hand-pollinate vanilla here, a method growers still use worldwide.
