Personality snapshot

Only six ranked countries show more Turbulent results than Poland, so high standards, self-doubt, and second-guessing come up often among its respondents. They also keep their plans more open than most and lean a little more Introverted than average, while head and heart sit almost evenly balanced.

The four Roles appear in close to average shares, though warm, people-focused ENFJs (Protagonists) are rarer. The real twist is an unlikely pair. Spontaneous ESTPs (Entrepreneurs) and orderly ESTJs (Executives) are each about a fifth more common than in the average country.

About the country

Poland stretches from the sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea to the granite peaks of the Tatra Mountains, with the thousands of lakes of Masuria in between. Białowieża Forest, one of Europe’s last primeval woodlands, is home to wild European bison. Near Kraków, the Wieliczka Salt Mine holds a chapel carved entirely from rock salt, chandeliers included. Nicolaus Copernicus, Frédéric Chopin, and Marie Skłodowska-Curie were all born here.
